Cheese and Butter Muslin (SKU #1211): A fine weave 90 thread count, reusable cloth made from 100% cotton. Used to drain curds and line cheese molds and/or colanders. Hand wash after every use. Sterilize before use. 1 square yard.
Mesophilic Shelf Stable Culture (sku# 1179): A starter culture used to make low-temperature cheeses such as Cheddar, Gouda and Monterey Jack. Pack contains 5 Mesophilic DVS Culture Sachets. Each sachet treats up to 8L (2 US Gallons) of pasteurized milk. Contains Milk/Dairy. Store in freezer.
Calcium Chloride (SKU # 1177): Create a firmer setting curd when making hard cheese. Calcium chloride is added to store bought milk which is pasteurized and homogenized to restore calcium content. 50ml (1.69 oz.) will treat 25 gallons of milk. Store in a cool, dark place. Will last indefinitely if stored properly.
Curd Knife (SKU # 1212): A curd knife is essential in the cheese making process. With this knife, you can easily cut uniform curds. This blunt tipped knife won't scratch your pots and can be used for cake decorating. Features a long 12" stainless steel blade and a sturdy plastic handle.
Cheese Thermometer (SKU #1213): This dairy thermometer ranges in temperature from 0°F to 220°F. It features an 11 3/4" stem, large, easy to read, stainless steel dial, and an adjustable clip that easily attaches to the side of any height pot. It can be recalibrated by adjusting the nut underneath the dial.
Feta Mold (SKU # 1214): This lightweight feta cheese mold (4" L x 3 3/4" W x 3 1/2 " H) is made of food-grade polypropylene plastic. The large number of perforations allows for good drainage of hard cheeses and/ or quick cheeses such as feta. Natural weave pattern on the base.
